Greetings! My name is Sherri Manning and I am thrilled to be your child’s Kindergarten teacher. This will be my twelth year here at Marbut. I’ve also taught fourth grade, third grade, and second grade. I am also a mother of three. I have a fourth grader and a second grader that attend Marbut, and a 3 year old. I love working with children and am excited about this year.
Some of my favorite hobbies / activities include reading, shopping, playing games, walking, and spending time with my family. I love to keep busy and can always find something fun to do.
Teaching has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I believe in setting high expectations to help our children become more successful. I also believe that learning is and should be fun. I see the potential in every child and it is my goal to ignite the fire of life-long learning for each one.
I value you as parents and would like for us to work together this year for the best interest of your child. If you would like to come in to read a story, volunteer to work with a small group during math or reading time, or help out in other capacities do not hesitate to let me know. You are always welcome.
