My name is Mrs. Kinuana Roberts and I am your child’s 3rd grade teacher. Altogether, I have over 10 years of teaching experience. This is my 7th school year here at Marbut Elementary and my 6th year as a 3rd grade teacher. In addition to 3rd grade, I’ve also taught both pre-k and kindergarten. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree at Brenau University in Atlanta, GA. I also have 7 years teaching experience in the corporate world. I am married with five children ages 12, 16, 18, 20, and 20.
My philosophy of education is that ALL children can learn and be successful when 1) the school and parents work together and 2) students’ different learning styles and strengths are identified. When teachers know how each child learns best, lots of different teaching strategies can be incorporated daily. When this happens, learning can be an exciting and rewarding experience for all.
