Marbut Traditional Theme School provides students with the opportunity to participate in many challenging academic teams to build their confidence and showcase their academic abilities. The Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl engages students in a fun competition that tests their knowledge of books assigned throughout the year. Students are tasked with reading and answering questions about the current Georgia Book Award nominees.
The sponsors for the Marbut Reading Bowl Team are Ms. Lyseight and Mrs. McElveen. They work weekly with the 4th and 5th graders who make up the team. The team is also supported by our proud Marbut families. On Saturday, January 25th, Marbut's Reading Bowl Team will compete at Arabia Mountain at 8:30 a.m.
