Community Helper Book
Fall Semester Project
Due: Friday, November 4, 2016
The student will create a Community Helper Book of the community helper of their choice.
· The book will include a creative cover designed by the child.
· ALL TEXT MUST BE HANDWRITTEN BY THE STUDENT.
· There are 5 questions students must answer about the community helper (one question per page).
1. Who is your community helper?
2. What does your community helper do?
3. Where does the community helper work?
4. What kind of tools/equipment do they use?
5. Why are they important to our community?
6. Why do you want to be this helper when you grow up?
· The book must include at least 6 pages, with photos. (NO DRAWING)
· We encourage you to visit the place the community helper works. **Bonus points given if your child has a picture with that community helper.
· The student must be able to orally present the contents of the book to the class.
· The pages must be bound together.

41-50 points = Exemplary
